Arrival at Colombo airport, where you will be met by an Adhvan Tours representative. You will start your journey towards Mirissa, the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Once you arrive at your beach front hotel, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Mirissa | Tissamaharama

Today you will have an early morning start with a boat ride into the open waters. Bring your bathing suit as you will have the chance to swim in the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. What you see today will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life! In a boat with nothing but the beautiful Indian Ocean and its denizens around you: Blue Whales, Pilot Whales and Spinner Dolphins playfully splashing around the water. Observe the Blue Whales calmly swim along the surface or pods of Pilot Whales spewing water through their blowholes. After enjoying this fantastic scenery you will head back to your hotel where you can freshen up and continue your journey towards Tissamaharama. Once you reach your hotel relax and take a dip in the pool to cool off from the Sri Lankan heat.

Tissamaharama | Yala National Park

Rise and shine! Start your morning with a drive to Yala National Park and enjoy an early-morning Safari. You will get to see wild elephants in their natural habitat, leopards lazing on trees, hundreds of bird species, giant crocodiles and herds of deer. If you have sharp eyes you might be able to see an elusive sloth bear or a cobra slithering its way along the vegetation. After all the excitement of a safari spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Today you can sleep in before proceeding to Udawalawe, where you will take part in your second safari. Udawalawe National Park is known for its large number of elephant's roamding throughout the park. Furthermore, you will see a large variety of birds, deer and crocodiles lounging in the sun. When you return to your hotel you can relax for the rest of the day or walk around the area and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka's nature.

After breakfast you will head to your booked beach hotel.

NOTE: Whale watching season in the South Coast is during the Winter Season (mid-November – end of April).
Therefore, this tour can only be carried out in combination with whale watching during the Winter Season.
For the Summer Season (May – mid-November) we can create another itinerary, which would include Whale
Watching in Trincomalee with Wilpattu, Minneriya, Udawalawe and Yala National Parks.
